We left Florida on Friday, September 18, a day later than we were supposed to (see previous entry) and headed for New York where, on Saturday, I was officiating at the blessing of a marriage for our nephew.   All went well and we enjoyed seeing many family members whom we had not seen in years.

On June 11 we left for Columbus where I served as Clergy Deputy from Southeast Florida. General Convention ended on June 21 and we returned home, basically to do laundry and pack. We might have guessed this was not going to be an ordinary day when we found that the liturgy was a Rite I service but the music up-beat "Sunday jazz!" "The wind blows where it will. You do not know where it comes from or where it is going" Scripture says.
